Lloyd is a retired OB/GYN who also enjoys the challenge of delivering well-crafted sentences, paragraphs, and plot transitions. His writings have appeared in the Omaha World-Herald, The Female Patient, Iowa Medicine, Contemporary OB/GYN, Hospital Drive, the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecology and the medical website Doximity. In addition to his enthusiasm for writing and obstetrics, he loves to teach. In 2008, while a member of the teaching faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, he received the Dean's Award for Excellence in Clinical Education and The Hirschmann Golden Apple Award. Currently, Holm resides on an acreage in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
