Lois Kay was born in France, to Dutch parents, has four brothers, grew up in The Netherlands, has lived in Australia for a while and currently resides in New Hampshire, United States. Yes, she's been a bit of a nomad. Lois has always been a ferocious reader and has been spinning tales as soon as she learned how to write. Some of Lois' work is available through The Royal Academy of Bards website, where, in 2014 she was inducted in the Hall of Fame. Lois is a Registered Nurse by day and, in addition to writing, loves reading, learning, photography, music, a good movie, animals (except mosquitoes and ticks) and living close to nature. She shares her life with a rescued Pit Bull, who hates rain, and a Shi-Tzu who has a congenital hip defect, but is a true survivor and has the heart of a lion.
