Hi, I'm Lola Jane. I've been writing stories for over twenty years, ever since I was a teenager filling notebooks instead of doing just about anything else. What started as a hobby slowly became the thing I couldn't imagine my life without. These days, I write psychological horror, dark romance, and poetry. I'm endlessly fascinated by forgotten histories, abandoned places, old institutions, and the ways memory, grief, and hope shape the people we become. My stories often wander between the psychological and the supernatural, and I like leaving just enough room for readers to decide where the truth really lies. When I'm not writing, I'm homeschooling my children, tending my garden, baking something from scratch, reading far too many books, or collecting yet another hobby I'll inevitably fall in love with. My house is shared with a small zoo of dogs, cats, and snakes, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't really believe inspiration arrives like lightning. I think it grows quietly from ordinary life, from conversations, old photographs, forgotten buildings, rainy afternoons, and the strange little moments most people walk past without noticing. I'm so glad you found your way here. I hope you enjoy exploring these stories as much as I've enjoyed writing them.
