After moving more times than she can count, and working as everything from a retail logistics manager to PhD candidate, Lola Karns decided she needed a more portable career. Writing fit the bill. Even better, writing lets her make stuff up and neither her parents nor her kids can't send her to her room for lying. Currently, Lola resides in Minnesota with the Hubs, two children, and three cats. When not writing or volunteering in her community, she procrastinates with baking, reading, and feeble attempts at gardening.
