Part of Series

As long as he's lived, Cade McCall has had to fight through hell to survive. Long nights in a Yankee P.O.W. camp left the soldier bruised and bloodied, but it's a shock close to home that cuts closest to the bone. Forced to start over again, Cade thinks his luck has turned around when he meets a beautiful woman. He should've known the encounter was a trap… Shanghaied at sea by a group of underhanded foes, lesser men than Cade might lose faith. But a blazing escape attempt and a treacherous voyage back to America are only the beginning, as the enemies he makes along the journey may come back to haunt him… To become a Wild West legend, Cade must survive a grueling cattle drive, impossible odds, and a trail of blood… Long Road to Abilene is the first book in a thrilling series of Western adventures. If you like tough-as-nails cowboys, rugged backdrops, and incredible journeys, then you’ll love Robert Vaughan’s spirited tale.
