This isn't just a collection of short stories. It's a collection of choices. The ones people make for their futures, the ones made out of fear, the ones made for other people, and the ones they make—often unwittingly—that dictate how their story ends. A woman is forced to choose between her family and her family's legacy. A man is helpless as he watches the past and the future collide. A young girl is willing to go unfathomable lengths to mend her broken heart. A professor struggles to put down roots at the college she dreads attending. Two teenagers dream of changing places, only to discover that the grass is always greener on the other side. You'll find these endings and more in Loose Ends: A Collection of Choices, the latest installment from Caitlin Marceau, the award-winning author of This Is Where We Talk Things Out.
