Lori Joseph has drawn on her life experiences as an artist, wife, mother of four sons, photo stylist, producer, volunteer and friend for inspiration in her writing. The Pennwriters, founded in 1986, awarded a FIrst Place prize to Joseph for her debut poem titled, Wasserfall. Soon after, Joseph completed The Homestead Collection, poetry based on images of the mountain west, taken by photographers Tim O’Hara and Terry Wild. The collection was published online by Clerestory Poetry Journal, Poems of the Mountain West. Joseph also framed the images with her poetry to create a touring exhibit that has shown in Massachusetts, Wyoming and Maryland. Her work has been published by the Union Pacific Railroad, JustBeU magazine, and the Nebraska Writers Guild, founded in 1925, in How It Looks from Here, poetry chapbook and Voices From The Plains, 2nd Edition Anthology. In addition to writing, Joseph offers the A2A workshop which can be tailored for individuals or group team building. Contact Lori@LoriJoseph.com to schedule a workshop.
