A former catalogue librarian with two graduate degrees, Lorinda J. Taylor was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and worked in several different academic libraries before returning to the place of her birth, where she now lives. She has written fantasy and science fiction for years but has only begun to self-publish in 2011. To this point, she has published one science fiction novella, a two-volume SF novel, and seven volumes of a series entitled The Labors of Ki'shto'ba Huge Head. She has also published a work of speculative fiction entitled Fathers and Demons, where the reader can look into her ideas about future history, as well as a lyrical fantasy about the clash of disparate peoples, called Children of the Music.. Her writings combine aspects of SF, fantasy, literary fiction, adventure, and psychological fiction. You'll read about giant intelligent termites and you'll read reworkings of Greek myth and medieval tales in terms of the termite civilization. You'll also find a moving human love story along the way! Her goal is to write compelling fiction that delivers an emotional impact and leaves her readers with something to think about at the end of each story.
