Friends to enemies…to instant family? In Rendezvous Falls, anything is possible! Single mom Andrea Wentworth needs the town's fall festival to be a success—it's the key to her finally landing an impressive new job. Andrea knows her perfectly manicured corn maze on a charming local farm will be sure to wow everyone, but she didn't count on her enemy from high school, Zayne Rutledge, getting in her way. Former best friends, Andrea and Zayne had a falling out in senior year, and it seems Zayne's held a grudge ever since. Zayne's always been known as Rendezvous Falls' resident recluse and bad boy. The old farm was the perfect place to peacefully continue his woodworking business, but when Andrea shows up demanding he maintain the now-overgrown maze, seeing her again hits a nerve. Andrea was the one who changed in senior year, not Zayne. Still, she's just as feisty and beautiful as he remembers…and it's infuriating. With the festival quickly approaching, Andrea must find a way to make amends with Zayne. Twenty years have passed since the two spoke, but they can't ignore surprising old feelings returning between them. Could the unlikely partners realize what they've been missing all these years is each other?

I write the same kind of romances I like to read – stories about characters facing real-life challenges with real-life consequences. The stories are emotional, but still have humor, and love always finds a way to pull the characters through together. I live in coastal North Carolina with 100 pounds of dog and 200 pounds of husband – my slice of the bed is very small. When I’m not writing or reading romance novels (or clinging to the edge of the bed…), I can often be found on the back porch sipping wine with friends while listening to an eclectic playlist. If the weather is absolutely perfect, I might join my husband on the golf course, where I always feel far more competitive than my actual skill-level would suggest.
