She needed a fiancé — immediately! Julie Marshall didn't know what to worry about first—her sister's approaching marriage to the only man Julie had ever loved, or the fact that her family wanted her American "international financier" fiancé to attend the wedding. Why had she ever invented such a man? But the Fates were smiling. There, right in her London bakery, under her very nose, was Robert Baxter asking her for a date. And Robert was an actor—an American actor. What started as a simple business arrangement soon became personal . . . and anything but simple. Because Robert's performance was all too convincing!
