The stories you are about to read celebrate love, sex and romance between men. They are a product of the Love Is Always Write promotion sponsored by the Goodreads M/M Romance Group and are published as a free gift to you. What Is Love Is Always Write? The Goodreads M/M Romance Group invited members to choose a photo and pen a letter or story prompt asking for a short M/M romance story inspired by the image; authors from the group were encouraged to select a letter or story prompt and write an original tale. The result was an outpouring of creativity that shone a spotlight on the special bond between M/M romance writers and the people who love what they do. Nearly 150 stories were submitted and published as a ten volume set – as well as an additional special bonus volume with three novel-length stories – titled Love Is Always Write; this edition is Volume Two. Whether you are an avid M/M romance reader or new to the genre, you are in for a delicious treat. I write and read original m/m romance, after several years of writing fanfiction. In a former life I studied and taught western religious history and culture, but for now my focus has been on writing and working as a freelance writer in Baltimore. I like power dynamics, historical settings, and nuanced characters and plots. I published my first novel, In Allegiance, as an online serial; it's now available in a significantly revised version. I have more novels and stories in the works, which I'll post about here.

Xara X. Xanakas
Xara X. Xanakas
Author · 12 books

Xara X. Xanakas decided years ago to embrace her weirdness. A friend first described her that way to the man who’s been her husband for over twenty years. That formula fits her, and she figures if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Being Texan, her crush on cowboys comes natural, but the techie in her loves to show nerds a good time. She relishes all things different, and brings saucy style to her writing. Whether wrangling a wayward ranch hand or adding another critter to her were-menagerie, Xara strives to make the outlandish appealing. She’ll make you quirk a brow and snort with laughter, and that’s all right by her. Xara believes that unique is best and happily ever after is the icing on the cookies. Give her a shout out at her website, or stalk follow her on twitter and Facebook. She writes M/M Romances. You can probably tell by her initials (~xxx~) that her stories trend toward the very graphic, NSFW, not for minors category. If that's not your thing, you are excused. Otherwise, howdy! Come on in, put your feet up, and hang out for a while. There's some excerpts of works in progress, and a few finished short stories under "My Writing".

Megan Reddaway
Megan Reddaway
Author · 7 books

Megan Reddaway has been entertained by fictional characters acting out their stories in her head for as long as she can remember. She began writing them down as soon as she could. Since she grew up (more or less), she’s worked as a secretary, driver, waitress, and flower-seller, among other things, but she always has a story bubbling away at the same time.

Adara O'Hare
Adara O'Hare
Author · 6 books

Adara is a geek in writer’s clothing—a mild-mannered website designer by day and a wife, mother, reader, and sometimes writer by night. She enjoys Star Wars, Firefly, manga (includes yaoi), anime (very little yaoi), and a whole lot of other hobbies, mostly encompassed by the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). She still has her collections of board and card games, stuffed animals, original My Little Ponies, and Star Wars books and action figures, though not really anyplace to put them at the moment. Thank goodness most of her M/M romance collection is eBook, not physical, or there would be no space at all left to walk in the dining room. (NOTE: If you are sending me a friend request just to try to promote your books to me or invite me to release events, I will unfriend and block you.)

Sassy Lane
Author · 3 books

With a newly turned teenage son (who provides great writing music) and an adult daughter who has moved back home until she leaves for the military, Sassy suffers from more ‘squirrel on crack’ than usual. Just ask the patient Goodreads team. Plot bunnies run amok in the garden, chased by the not-quite-domestic cat her daughter adopted from a local shelter, and who has now adopted Sassy as ‘his human’. Despite all attempts to convince him otherwise, Damien, the cat, now occupies her former pillow. He watches intently as she plays games on her phone until she falls asleep at night. At which time, she becomes the pillow. C’est la vie.
