Lucas Pogrzebny (también publicado como Lucas Porzebny) es un escritor de novelas de misterio, suspenso y whodunit. Su novela debut fue «El aula perdida», y entre sus obras se destacan las series de ficción detectivesca Café Levin («La última crítica») y de ficción gótica Rougemoon Noirchâteau («Banquete de sombras»). Sus historias han sido elogiadas por el público y la crítica como «rompe moldes» de narrativa moderna con espíritu clásico y «piezas de relojería». En 2019 fue Pre-seleccionado en la Competencia de Misterio Corto Margery Allingham de la Crime Writers’ Association (UK) y también fue seleccionado en el Premio Itaú de Cuento Digital (AR) de 2018, por sus relatos «La última bala de Amadeo Higgins» y «Nuestro juego nocturno», respectivamente.
