Things I never expected on my thirty-second birthday.

1. Getting dumped by my girlfriend.
2. Receiving an invitation to meet with the owners of a record label.
3. Drinking with one of my best friends and walking her home at the end of the night. Okay, that last one isn’t out of the ordinary. However, before tonight I’ve never considered kissing Tess. Or stripping her down to worship her curves. Discovering what she tastes like and the sounds she makes when she falls apart. Now I can’t stop. I don’t want to ruin our friendship, especially when all my friends and family are back home in Ireland, but maybe the universe is telling me to take a risk.
