Macy Stapleton has been in love with writing lyrics since she was a little girl. When she is offered a spot in Nashville’s Next Best Lyricist contest she takes the challenge head-on. To her dismay, Nick Gigori, her long-time rival in her college English class is also awarded a spot. Things get spooky when the lyrics that Macy and Nick write are nearly identical. The judges ask them to do a duet for the challenge and will perform in the Christmas Holiday Showcase. Could these two rivals have a soft spot for each other? Can they set aside their differences and work together to be Nashville’s Next Best Lyricists?
