M.J. Prest has been a professional blogger since 2007, writing on fashion, food, personal finance, pop culture, and education. She was editor-in-chief of EthicalStyle.com, a website dedicated to green issues in fashion, for four years. Prior to that she was a senior editor at The Chronicle of Philanthropy, the national newspaper for the nonprofit world. Her writing has also appeared in The Washington Post. She graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in English in 2004, and now lives at Lake Tahoe with her husband and son.
