M.K. Lives in WV with her husband, 3 children, 2 dogs and a cat. It’s rare to catch her without a book, or kindle, in her hand. She started writing at a young age. Her first literary love was Edgar Allan Poe. Her stories are mainly based in the Appalachian mountains where she grew up, with the exception of Tangled Like Christmas Lights. She enjoyed writing stories that are emotionally charged and will leave readers wanting more.
