ML Dumars has a BA in Humanities from Tulane University. She is published in Up All Night anthology, Handbasket Zine, Fleur de Lit magazine, and Short Edition Database. She was a monthly contributor to SB magazine. She resides in her home town of Shreveport, Louisiana, where she writes about small town experiences and the characters who create intriguing communities. Through the challenges faced by diverse characters, she exposes the brave relationships they form in societies influenced by stereotypes, beliefs, sexual orientation, and ethnic bias.
