Part of Series

Mace is enjoying another day as a Pagan Soul. He’s returning from a trip to see his blood family when he walks into an intense situation at home. It seems his friend and fellow club brother, Twisted, found a woman hiding in the bathroom at their truck stop. She’s scared and possibly hurt. She’s brought to the compound to be checked out, and her story is shared with the others. Immediately, Mace is assailed by feelings he can’t explain. And he tries to ignore and resist them. Unthinking words hurt her feelings and cause tension between them. Jessamy never imagines she’ll be kidnapped, escape, and then be rescued by bikers. She’s wary at first, but soon, the Pagans put her at ease. She shares with them what happened to her. The only one she can’t relax around is Mace. He stirs these emotions and a physical awareness in her. She’s uncertain why she’s feeling them, and when she hears what he says, she’s determined to leave and find another way to bring the men responsible for her situation to justice. The Pagan Souls offer to do it is appreciated, but she doesn’t want to bring danger to them. Mace contends with conflicting emotions, jealousy, and a whole lot more. However, he does realize what he Jessamy. It’s not up to him to convince her they should be together. If only a determined club bunny would leave him alone. Throw in unknown people they need to find in order to make Jessamy safe and another threat from an outlaw club, and they have so much to settle before Mace, and his Madonna can have what others dream a life together.

An avid reader with a passion for romances that finally got the chance to write one of her own. The rest is history. Not what anyone thought for someone who has been a nurse and in healthcare management for years. I sit writing as my two fur babies, my pugs Kujo and Khaos, impatiently wait for me to get done so they can lay on me as their human sofa! My children are finally considered to be adults, so it's me, the hubby and the dogs. I'm a iced tea drinking fiend who has insomnia, more ideas than I know what to do with, and a need to write them down. Not too bad for a girl from rural Ohio in the foothills of Appalachia that grew up in a town of about 4000 people.
