Giant leviathans descend from the skies, their hides glistening in the sunlight as though wet. Fire pours from their bellies, burning everyone and everything beneath them. They open their mouths to release gleaming pods that thud into the ground all around and unfold to reveal more strange creatures, each the shape of a man, but as tall as the surrounding trees. They begin to rampage through the countryside, destroying everything in their path. They are known as the Swarm, and they want slaves. I am Kaldor, witch-doctor for the Delara tribe, and it is up to me to find a way stop these monsters, these marauding beasts from the sky. How can I hope accomplish such a momentous task? How can I lead my people, armed with bows, rocks, spears and stone daggers, into battle against such things? What other answer is there besides war?
