Mackenzie Reide is a mechanical engineer, writer, and adventurer. She also dabbles in aerospace, so yes, you can call her a rocket scientist. She loves to see strong girls in stories which is reflected in her middle grade books The Mystery of Troll Creek and The Mask of the Troll. If you like alternate history you can read her short story Shifting Gears in the anthology Altered States of the Union. For science fiction and fantasy readers, her short story Cascadia is part of the Infinite Dimensions: Crossroads series. She is currently working on the third book in The Adventurers trilogy and two new short stories for upcoming science fiction anthologies.
