Could the woman whose voice had been his lifeline find sanctuary in his arms? Lincoln McAllister rarely left his secret mountain compound, Shangri-la, until twin temptations finally did the trick: a friend's wedding and a chance to meet Sterling Lindsey at last! But answering her desperate call for help sent them both into hiding—and forced them to confront emotions they'd never before dared to confess. Could a spirited survivor and a man who'd played angel for everyone else but himself seize their own bit of heaven? In a story of risk and romance as suspenseful as it is sensual, Sandra Chastain sends a lonely hero on the greatest mission of his life: to save the woman who'd kept his hope alive. He'd persuaded her to leave the refuge where she'd held terror at bay, but would he be able to keep her safe from shadows without also making her his?
