Madden Kole is a dark fiction author and a first generation American who was born in Los Angeles, California, to Colombian parents. A tomboy who faithfully followed her two older brothers despite the inevitable cuts, scrapes, and stitches that resulted from bike riding over dirt mounds, she ultimately became the self-proclaimed “Queen of the Tether-Ball Court” in Southern California’s high desert. She spent her teenage years in Phoenix, Arizona, before buying a one-way ticket to New York City, where she made plenty of bad decisions but did not create a single regret. In 2013, Madden returned to Phoenix to stay at home and raise her two amazing children. She has been a self-employed graphic designer in the literary publishing industry for over a decade. Although she published her first novel under a pseudonym in 2013, she later realized it did not reflect her true calling. Because shadows roam freely in her black heart, she knew her stories must mirror the darkness that matches her soul. When she isn't writing, you can find Madden binge-watching TV shows with her teenage daughter, experimenting with makeup, or rolling her eyes at the antics of her son as he annihilates his foes on Fortnite.
