I never thought betrayal would come from the one person who stood with me when everyone else turned their backs. Avalon's return to Spearwood was supposed to reunite her with her friends and with Lusk, but after overhearing his plans to force students into failing, she finds herself crushed and in doubt of who she can trust. On top of that, Avalon's air classes are failing to get off the ground...literally. She finds herself locked out of the Air building, along with the rest of the Apprentices, and time is ticking down for her to discover a way inside. If she can't report to her classes before the Winter Solstice, she'll be thrown into a trial that could cut her time at Spearwood short, if she survives.
