
Mahrin Ferdous is a Bangladeshi novelist, short story writer, translator, and feature writer whose work spans both adult and children’s literature. Her writing often explores surrealism and magic realism, focusing on contemporary social crises, psychological dislocation, and haunting interior landscapes. Since 2010, she has published eleven books in Bangla. In 2019, she was recognized by Banglalink Telecom as one of Bangladesh's five most promising young writers. In 2022, she received the BRAC Bank–Samakal Literary Award for her contributions to Bangla literature.
