Marc ter Horst is a Dutch writer of science books for children (STEM). His books won several prizes, including a Silver Stylus for 'Viruswereld'. In 2018 Marc published Palmen op de Noordpool (Palm Trees at the North Pole), a very important and highly entertaining children’s book about climate change of which Chinese, Czech, English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Ukrain rights are already sold. In May 2021 Marc published his children's book about viruses, pandemics and vaccines: Snot, Sneezes and Superspreaders (Viruswereld).
