Is it better to be loved or feared? That's the question I ask myself, and for now, while I'm trying to become the boss of the Marletti Crime Family, the answer has to be feared. I don't need guys like Paulie or Sal to love me. I need them to do what I tell them, that's all. But this woman, Anna, she makes me think about the other thing. Fear is sexy. When she looks me in the eyes, too scared to look away, then I'll have her, and it won't matter whether she loves me or fears me. One will be as good as the other. The result will be the same. MARCUS is a standalone novel with a HEA and no cliffhangers, told in a dual, alternating POV. It's a part of the “Claiming What's His” series, all with somehow dispossessed mafia antiheroes, trying to take back what is rightfully theirs through intrigue and action, and always a woman who complicates things (in a good way). They can be read in any order, they are numbered in the order I published them, though not necessarily the order I wrote them in. I'm writing two more right now (5 total) but I'm not sure I can stop myself there.
