Margaret Dubay Mikus, Ph.D. was a research scientist and teacher who healed from multiple sclerosis in 1995 and breast cancer a year later. Now she is a poet, healer, singer and photographer, and the author of three award-winning books, "As Easy as Breathing: Reclaiming Power for Healing and Transformation," "Letting Go and New Beginnings: A Mother's Poetic Journey," and "Thrown Again into the Frazzle Machine: Poems of Grace, Hope, and Healing." Her poem and essays have been published in literary journals, newsletters, magazines, and anthologies, online and in print. In 2013, the "Willow Review" named her their Illinois Featured author.
