Hi. I've been writing for quite a while and in different genres. I don't stick to one genre in particular. That said, I do fancy murder mysteries and westerns. I tend to lean toward a rather dark sense of humor when writing murder mysteries. Kind of a Coen-esque frame of mind. On the other side of the spectrum, I adore writing books for children. And cookbooks. Love stories are always fabulous. Intertwined in most of my stories are facts true to chosen areas, though the stories are fiction. Comedy seems a necessity to a story, in my opinion. Most any story. I adore animals and currently have two little dog rescues - Jalina and Mercy. Part of our family too is a fun and funny cat named Lilly. They all keep happiness flowing in constant stream. We enjoy mornings and evenings outside, walks by the lake, and quiet time with a good movie at night. In addition to writing, I work at a horse sanctuary in Paso Robles, CA and also as a chef in an assisted living home in Atascadero. Very full plate, have I.
