Maria Grace was born in South Wales, UK. She fell out of the womb with a pen in her hand, ready to write. As a child, she would always be writing songs, poems and stories. When she reached her teenage years, she also kept journals and considered herself to be the Penpal Queen! As well as writing her debut novel, Maria also writes for The Huffington Post. After studying Creative & Professional Writing at university, she graduated with first-class honours and was awarded for academic excellence. She went on to complete a PGCE and now spends a lot of her time teaching noisy, dramatic, wonderful teens. In her spare time, you can usually find Maria curled up with a good book and a good cup of tea - preferably with cake. White Petals is her debut novel, published by Firefly Press.
