Born in New York, Marion always wrote. At age five, she had her first story published in a school newspaper. Poetry writing followed throughout her school years and continued into adulthood. After a stint teaching English in New York City high schools, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue film and TV writing. She began writing sitcoms, later TV movies and eventually did some producing. Marion's first book, ALL THE GOOD ONES ARE MARRIED, became a Lifetime movie in 2009. Marion co-produced, "Shelter Me," a documentary on the great value shelter dogs can have; it's currently playing on PBS around the country. Her new book, ROMANCING THE DOG, is about a dog who once was in a shelter and the journey he takes with the author.
