Mark A. Moore is a Technical Writer for the N.C. Department of Information Technology. He is the author of "Dead Man's Curve: The Rock 'n' Roll Life of Jan Berry (McFarland 2021), "The Jan & Dean Record" (McFarland 2016), and "The Old North State at War: The North Carolina Civil War Atlas" (NCDNCR 2015), among other titles. His original maps and plans have have appeared in works of history published by W. W. Norton & Company, Da Capo, Savas, Stackpole, University of North Carolina Press, University Press of Kentucky, University Press of Kansas, Kent State University Press, Harlan Davidson, North & South Magazine, Hallowed Ground Magazine, and many others.
