Mark is, by day, a director at a large international accountancy firm and, more importantly, a husband and father of one. In his spare time he is a novelist and his debut work, Where the Dark Fish Swim, was written and released in 2016. The story was written whilst Mark and his wife, Jennie, were on a long journey of their own to find their own family and was published just after the arrival of their first child. Mark grew up in Witney, a small market town in Oxfordshire, and, whilst there are some small reflections of his own life in his stories, he had a childhood that could not have been further from Where the Dark Fish Swim's central character. Mark has a number of follow up works that are set for release in 2017 and beyond. —This text refers to the paperback edition.
