Mark grew up in Dayton, Ohio, graduated from Wright State University with degrees in History and Speech. Before turning his talents to writing, he enjoyed a successful career in commercial real estate with CBRE, served on that firm’s Operations Management Board and then as CEO of Prudential CRES. In 2009 and 2021, respectively, he founded Donahue Literary Properties and Straight Ahead Cinema, his film production and development company. His five novels (Last at Bat, Golden Reich, Fat Girl, Answer Man and Stat$) share the distinction of becoming Amazon #1 Best Sellers. He also has written twelve screenplays, the most recent of which, EZ Way, is currently in pre-production at SAC.
