Mark Lada is a writer and educator based in British Columbia. His writing blends realism with shades of the surreal, and he is fascinated by the beauty of everyday moments and the quiet spaces between people. He has taught language and literature in classrooms from Canada to China, and holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing. When not writing, he can usually be found reading obscure novels, hiking in the woods, or drinking masala chai at the wrong time of day. All That Wasn’t is his debut novel.
