In my previous life I was a police officer for 36 years in Boulder, Colorado. I eventually advanced to be the Police Chief for 16 years. Boulder can be a crazy town and I have seen a lot of strange things in my career. I have a bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University in Michigan and a Master’s Degree from the University of Colorado at Denver. I’m married to my wife Sally, and have two children and five grandkids. Now in retirement, I am using my experience, knowledge, and imagination to create fictional stories that I hope are interesting, suspenseful, and entertaining to my readers. I’ve always enjoyed writing and can now devote the time it takes to be a serious writer. Writing my first three murder mysteries has been an enjoyable experience. I’ve tried to make the stories entertaining, dramatic, and yet realistic. I get satisfaction and motivation when my readers tell me how much they enjoyed my book.
