A native of La Plata, Argentina, but living in Spain for more than a decade already, Al’s American comic-book career started with Legion #17 and #18 for DC Comics. A short time later, he became Batman: Gotham Knights’ ongoing artist, book he pencilled for 20 issues (#50-58, #61-66, #68-72) with inks by Francis Portela and Bit. After that, he did the Martian Manhunter miniseries, also inked by Bit, with colors by Marta Martínez, and moved over to Countdown to Final Crisis and the Amazons Attack! issues of Teen Titans(#45-46, #48-49). Next was The War That Time Forgot, a 12-issue miniseries, also for DC. After Resident Evil for Wildstorm. Al was the ongoing artist on The Authority until the cancellation of the company’s superhero line of books. He also did an issue of Batman: Arkham Unhinged for the digital division of DC Comics. Al’s currently working for Marvel on books like Loki, X-Men, Hulk Annual, Avengers: Solo or Marvel Zombies Destroy!
