Mary Peelen's writing has appeared in The Massachusetts Review, Antioch Review, Gulf Coast, Alaska Quarterly Review, Bennington Review, New American Writing, Poetry Review (UK), and other journals. She received an MFA from San Francisco State University as well as an M.Div. from the Graduate Theological Union. Born and raised in Michigan, she lives in San Francisco.
