Dax shows up on Adam's doorstep after their meeting in the park, completely out of the blue and with an odd proposal on the tip of his tongue. Confused, but no longer willing to feign disinterest, Adam accepts the offer and soon finds himself going on an impromptu road trip to meet a pack of werewolves. Circumstances unforeseen by either of them will ensure that things don't go entirely according to plan, an unfortunate occurrence that both will end up suffering for.
