Cait MacReady, a librarian and forger who tires of copying occult and magickal texts and decides to make up one of her own, just to see who she can fool with it, to see if unsuspecting readers will grant it power and reputation. Unfortunately for Cait, she already has an interested buyer in the book, a book that should not exist and nobody should know about. But the Queen of No Tomorrows already covets Cait's book, already knows the power that lies within it. Before she knows it, Cait is in over her head, swallowed by the book, by the hidden god named within it and by the knowledge that all of this happened before she ever dreamed it up. The magic that Cait never believed in but sought to profit from was more real than she dared believe. The Queen of No Tomorrows releases on July 7, 2023. A southern California native transplanted to the Sierra Nevada Foothills, Maxwell has been writing since he learned how to touch-type before he was in high school.
