Matthew LaBrot is an Agatha Award-winning author who, together with his uncle, Daniel J. Hale, writes the Zeke Armstrong Mystery series for middle-grade readers. His short fiction has appeared in HUMID, and he is also a published poet. A singer/songwriter with two albums to his credit, LaBrot lives in Dallas, Texas.
