Texas Ranger Sam Cable flies to California to extradite Jade Stone, a prisoner accused of the murder of her police detective boyfriend. On the way back, their small plane crashes in a remote area of the Gila National Forest. Sam, Jade, and the injured pilot soon discover that the crash was no accident.
