Born in Catoosa County in Northwest Georgia, McCracken King Poston, Jr. has always been in a hurry. Elected four times to the Georgia state legislature, he seemed destined for a life in politics and public service, until Georgia politics changed in the mid-1990s. Finding his footing led to his representation of Alvin "Zenith Man" Ridley in his 1999 murder trial. Poston, reborn as a criminal defense lawyer, has been lead counsel in several high-profile cases that have been featured on Forensic Files, A&E's American Justice, NPR's Snap Judgment, and in People Magazine.
