Bump in the Night
2019
Julian Weems doesn’t believe in aliens, cryptids, ESP, pineapple on his pizza, or ghosts. Oscar Fellowes is determined to change his mind about at least two of those things.
Julian Weems is a professional skeptic. Scratch that—he’s a disgraced ex-professor who just plays one on TV. Specifically, on UnReality’s soon-to-be-hit, Bump in the Night. Alongside medium Oscar Fellowes, Julian is set to investigate (alleged!) hauntings and get to the bottom of some old mysteries.
That thumping sound upstairs? Floorboards settling.
The cabinets that won’t stay closed? Old hinges.
The disembodied voices, flying dishes, and crying maid who disappears in front of your very eyes?
Well, there’s explanations for those, too. Oscar has plenty of them. Just not anything Julian can accept.
You don’t have to believe in ghosts for them to believe in you.
Oscar Fellowes has dealt with skeptics his entire life. None of them have ever been quite like Julian Weems, though. He doesn’t have to be an empath to pick up on the mutual attraction between them and he’s willing to overlook—for now—Julian’s adamant refusal to accept what’s happening around them.
The Hendricks family who died over a century ago haven’t left their house, and they want help. The dead demand justice before they can rest in peace and their anger seems strong enough to reach between worlds.
Bump in the Night
is a paranormal romance and book one in a series. It can be read as a standalone but has elements that will continue throughout the rest of the series, including a growing romance between the resident skeptic and professional medium.

Ghoul Friend
2021
Time to take this show on the road. The dark, creepy road with the haunted house at the end.
It’s not that Julian minds his new job. It’d just be nice if it didn’t come with so many murders. Especially when those murders end up with his not-quite-boyfriend talking to ghosts.
Or, in this case, a ghoul. Their road trip to Colorado in the name of bonding for the new show Bump in the Night takes an unexpected side trip to Budding, Texas: Home of the Wandering Ghoul and a half-dozen missing person cases in the last ten years.
Not exactly the best slogan for the tourism board.
Just another day at work.
Oscar takes it in stride, even as he’s juggling some strange shifts in his abilities and Ezra’s increasingly distant behavior, but when the Wandering Ghoul makes an up close and personal appearance one afternoon, it might be too much even for Oscar to handle.
Between trying to understand the sudden changes in his abilities and whether or not a relationship with dedicated skeptic Julian is worth the possible heartache, Oscar has an undead fanboy who won't take no for an answer.
They really should have just taken a plane.
Ghoul Friend is Book Two in the Medium at Large series and is a paranormal MM romance. It's best read as part of the series.

Old Ghosts
2021
Not all ghosts are dead.
A Grey Lady on the stairs.
A long-missing skier in the walls.
A medium losing his cool.
And an ex boyfriend in the bedroom.
Things are going fine. Just...fine.
It was supposed to be an easy investigation: a classic ghost story, an old house with lots of loose floorboards and hissing pipes, surrounded by dense forest... Every strange noise and weird shadow accounted for and dismissed.
Except for the sound of Oscar being accused of misleading his audience, of being a con artist.
And the Julian's ex showing up at the investigation as the new owner of the ski resort, haunted by the Gray Lady of the Rockies.
Julian should have known better than to believe it was going to be an easy investigation.
The scariest hauntings aren't the dead. They're the ghosts we keep inside.
Oscar has it under control.
Really.
The Gray Lady of the Rockies is supposed to be a simple investigation, something they all need after the last few months, but when the first night in the Chateau de Neige turns up an extra dead body in the old family cemetery, and an extra live one in the ski lodge's dining room, Oscar's grasp on the situation feels like it might be slipping.
His abilities are still in a state of flux—one day they're just fine, the next the volume is cranked to eleven with no warning and no in between.
And really, Oscar was sure he could handle it so long as the ghosts would stop being so damn critical.

In the Spirit
2022
Things between Julian and Oscar are only getting better and stronger. They’re ready to take the next step in their relationship:
Going to the biggest paranormal investigation convention in the eastern United States to promote Bump in the Night.
Everything is changing.
And not in the way Julian hoped for when he took the job on Bump in the Night.
The show is falling apart before it even really gets off the ground.
Oscar is having a crisis of faith in his abilities.
Julian’s been seeing someone.
Someone who’s supposed to be dead.
And when did the Bump in the Night team get a devoted fanbase who likes to cosplay as them at conventions?
He’s still a skeptic, but there’s some things that Julian just can’t find an answer for these days.
Maybe that fall down the stairs during the last episode did more damage than Julian thought.
Everything is changing.
Oscar’s got a secret.
He’s not the medium he used to be. His abilities are getting unpredictable and people are starting to notice.
Worse, the ghosts are starting to notice, and some of them have made it their mission to make Oscar’s life as stressful as possible.
And there’s a man who might be able to help him figure out what’s going on. Too bad the man seems to want him dead.
But first, Oscar has to get through Boo Con and a surprising number of people wearing cravats who all want his autograph.

After Life
2022
Sometimes you just need a break.
Too bad these ghosts didn't get the memo.
The cottage Julian picked out is ocean practically at their feet, a charming little beachfront town just a mile away, and the house itself is something out of a fairy tale.
The only thing is, Julian was expecting something less Grimm Brothers and more... not that.
The entire town of Rosie Sands is obsessed with ghosts, which means the relaxing getaway for two has become a business trip for five.
Ten, if you count the dead who just won't go away.
Unable to deny their existence any longer, Julian finds that he can't ignore the dead, either. Not when they've realized he can see them, too.
Over my dead body is supposed to be a turn of phrase, not a promise.
Oscar laughed off the fact Julian booked them a getaway at a haunted cottage—after all, most places were haunted in some way or another. There was no avoiding that.
And the fact the town was so haunted was a bit funny, and really charming, if Oscar was honest with himself.
The only big problem was the landlady and her boyfriend wouldn't stop fighting. It was keeping Oscar up all night.
Oh, and her boyfriend was a ghost.
And so were half the people in town.
Next time, he's choosing where they go for vacation.
A ghost town that wouldn't die.
A medium who won't leave.
And a skeptic who just wants decent reception on his phone to get some help, for crying out loud...
