Hello new readers! Welcome to the dark and twisty world of Jackal and Rabbit where together we discover how the world moves from the present state of existence into a cyberpunk reality; how the exponential growth of technology will change the human race as we know it and force our characters into a life they never dreamed of living; where immortals themselves have to fight to stay alive and the bonds of love and friendship are not only tested by time but by the difficulties of dystopia too. My name is Meg and I never ever dreamed of becoming an author; I was was going to become an art restorer and my Btech degree in visual arts was totally going to get me there! HA! Well, that didn't happen, as it turns out I'm a woman without a country having abandoned the one I was born into and not yet been accepted by the one I moved to, yet here I am existing anyway. THE CHRONICLES OF JACKAL AND RABBIT came into existence soon after I met my soul mate and muse, Hunter, who I am now married to. We have a tragically romantic long-distance relationship as the military keeps us apart and as a way to cope with the distance we came up with this little story about these two characters (based off of ourselves) whose worlds collide and chaos ensues. The 'little story' snowballed into a full-blown novel and thus the chronicles were born. I took to writing like a fish to water and found it to be a wonderful form of expression that I had been lacking in my painting over the years, they say that a picture speaks a thousand words but I find that a thousand words can paint a very detailed picture too.
