At the core of making disciples of Jesus Christ who live out this definition is an intentional discipling process. While this will certainly include some Christian Education and perhaps even some small group structures, intentional discipleship must include some form of accountable relationships. These are the catalysts for Real Discipleship. The making of real disciples is at the foundation of church leadership training. Current research has demonstrated over and over again that what we have been doing in relation to making disciples has not worked. There seems to be little difference in behaviors between those who call themselves disciples of Jesus Christ and those who are non-believers.
