MF Blake was born in Sydney and raised in Melbourne. She absolutely loves the detail and worlds created in recent vampire, witch and dystopian book series but wished for a similar story set in space. So when her 3-year old son goes to bed each night, MF Blake opens her laptop and Sunshine’s worlds come to life. She wrote Sunshine at the Academy in just ten weeks, her fingers only just keeping up with the thoughts flowing through her mind. She and her dog-obsessed son live in a small, wood-floored house by the sea in Melbourne. MF Blake has finished books 2 (Sunshine in the Shadows) and 3 (Sunshine Reigns) of the Sunshine series.
