I was born outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Now I live in New England with my family and Portuguese Water Dog (who happens to have the same grandfather as Bo Obama and also appears as a character in my novels). For over a decade I lived and traveled throughout Central America. I have worked as a cop, a prosecutor and a trial lawyer. Now I write thrillers.
