Michael Lacoy is an American writer and the author of the novels The Mystical Adventures of Stavros Papadakis (2019), Making a Better World (2021), and Stay Safe (2023). His work has a strong satirical streak, and focuses on families and relationships and how these are affected by social and political forces. His books also explore Christian themes and how individuals approach the subject of faith in an increasingly secular world. He has lived in Boston and New York City and currently lives in New Hampshire, where he is at work on two new books, including a sequel to Making a Better World.
