
Michael R. Melloch is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Purdue University. He has also served as Assistant Dean for the College of Engineering and Associate Head for Education for the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering. Before joining the faculty at Purdue, he held positions as a design engineer at Intel Corporation and as a member of the technical staff in the Central Research Laboratories of Texas Instruments, Inc. At Intel in the 1970s he was a design engineer on some of the first microcomputers. Prof. Melloch has published more than 300 scientific articles. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the American Physical Society, the American Vacuum Society, and the Optical Society of America. He has received every teaching award at the school, college, and university level at Purdue University. The Keys to Learning: Unlocking Your Brain’s Potential is his first book.
