Michael Roblin was born in San Diego, California. At the age of three, and only after` hours of thoughtful consideration, he decided to move to the Republic of Texas with his parents and older sister. After graduating from high school, he obtained a bachelor’s degree from East Texas State University – a school which shortly afterward changed its name. It is thought the two events are not related. DNA testing indicates 96% of Michael’s ancestors of the last 300 years came from the United Kingdom, although not all on the same boat. Based on recently fabricated research, that percentage would make him slightly less British than the Queen but way ahead of Meghan Markle. The remaining 4% hailed from western Europe, Russia, and Scandinavia, with a smattering of Pirates of the Caribbean sneaking into the bloodline somewhere along the way. Michael writes from his home in a suburb of Dallas, where he shares a magical life with his wife Robin (another member of the “five most beautiful” club) and their four canine children – Maddie, Stella, Phoebe and Lizzie.
